Where I've been
I've been out of touch with a lot of people since the new year.
Here's what I've been up to:
- Going to the circus (twice).
- Finishing up a Yucatec Maya class at the Asociación Mayab.
- Starting German again at the Goethe-Institut San Francisco.
- Computer security research ("look at me still talking when there's science to do!") leading to the submission of a paper to the 17th USENIX Security Symposium. Hopefully more news about this will be forthcoming later on this month.
- On vacation in New York. Staying with Sumana and Leonard; riding the amazing David Chess-recommended Roosevelt Island Tram; eating at Sacred Chow; playing handball in Queens.
- On vacation at MIT (and its environs). Staying with Mako and Mika and my mom and Pam; competing in the MIT Mystery Hunt, where my team (Codex Bodley) placed third. (Separate Mystery Hunt post to follow.)
- Hearing Larry Lessig's final free culture talk.
